POSITION: IT Engineer

ORGANISATIONAL CHART / REPORTING LINE DETAILS
REPORTS TO: IT Site Lead
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting regional team and GHQ IT to deliver Global IT services & improvements to region.
- Hardware support for staff.
- Independently managing IT projects from order to delivery.
- Documentation and development of IT systems and processes.
- Provide application support, change control and lifecycle management of core platforms and business processes.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION (SCHOOL/SPECIALISATION):
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or 5 or more years of IT support experience.
LANGUAGES: FluentEnglish
EXPERIENCES:
- Experience in troubleshooting Windows applications, with experience of working with server operating systems and basic networking.
- A basic understanding of at least one programming language.
- SQL knowledge. (MSSQL and/or MySQL).
- Experience of working to tight deadlines.
- Understanding business requirements and working with key business and technology stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills and experience of interacting with people at all levels.
OTHER INFORMATION & SPECIFIC TECHNICAL SKILLS
- A proactive flexible attitude and fast learner with a passion for IT.
- Ability to analyse and solve complex problems using tools and techniques to define root cause and proactive countermeasure for aiding continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize your own workload.
- Working experience in automotive parts manufacturing industry is preferred but not required.
