Job Opportunity: Trainee Dental Nurse (Full-Time)
Location: Forest House Dental Surgery
Position: Full-Time-( Monday- Friday 845am-515pm)

Who this role is for
Anyone who is interested in learning and willing to work hard and study towards a qualification. We also offer apprenticeship, so would suit school leavers.
Working days and Hours:
- Monday-Friday 8.45am- 5.15pm, with an hours lunch
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures
- Preparing and maintaining the clinical environment before, during, and after patient care
- Cleaning, sterilising, and maintaining dental instruments in line with infection control and cross-infection guidelines
- Ensuring all surgeries are stocked and ready for use
- Providing reassurance and support to patients, helping them feel comfortable during treatment
- Maintaining accurate patient records and updating clinical notes as required
- Following all health & safety, infection control, and safeguarding policies
- Supporting the wider dental team, including clinicians, nurses, and reception
- Learning and developing clinical skills while working towards a recognised dental nursing qualification
- Attending training sessions and completing coursework and assessments on time
Requirements:
- A genuine interest in dentistry and patient care
- Willingness to work towards a recognised Dental Nursing qualification
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A caring, professional, and friendly manner with patients
- Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and health & safety
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude to learning
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and online training
