Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, operating forklifts safely, and supporting shipping and receiving operations. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic environment that values safety, organisation, and teamwork. Working hours Monday-Thursday 09:45-18:00, Friday 09:30-16:30 (37hrs/week).
Responsibilities
- Operate counterbalance forklifts safely
- Load & unload HGV's and vans
- Moving of pallets to correct storage locations for efficient operations
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety standards
- Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records accurately
- Support inventory counts and stock organisation efforts
- Conduct routine safety checks on forklift equipment before use
Experience
- Proven experience operating forklifts within a warehouse or logistics environment
- Valid Counterbalance license (RTITB/ITSSAR/AITT)
- Pivot Steer FLT Licence Preferable
- Good communication & teamwork skills
- Safety-focused and reliable
