Summary
The Governors of Our Lady & St Gerard's are looking to appoint a friendly, organised and hardworking Site Supervisor to our school team. We are proud of our school and hope that the successful candidate will take pride in their work and work with us to create a wonderful environment for our children. Working under the direction of the Headteacher and Business Manager you will contribute to the smooth running of the school by carrying out a range of caretaking duties to the agreed quality standards, including security of the site, health and safety management and premise maintenance. The role includes opening up and completing safety checks each day. The hours can be blocked in the mornings or could involve a split shift to include locking up - this is negotiable, depending on the strengths of the candidate. Main tasks are outlined in the attached role descriptor. This role also involves a small element of cleaning.

The position is for 20-25 hours hours per week negotiable, depending on skill set. Having excellent handiwork skills would allow more hours to be allocated.
This position is part time, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.

Essential Qualifications
- The successful candidate will not be required to have formal qualifications or experience as full training can be provided, although relevant experience would be an advantage
Basic literacy and numeracy skills are required

Essential Experience
- Basic DIY/Repair skills such a plumbing, joinery and decorating would be beneficial to the role
- Ability to manage own workload and prioritise scheduled and reactive tasks effectively
Awareness of Health & Safety issues
