About the Role:
We are seeking a self-motivated individual to work as a Operations Administrator Assistant in a fast-paced, target-driven warehouse environment. This is a 3 months Fixed Term Contract, full-time position. The weekly Hours are 39 horus per week. The purpose of this role is to support the production controller in the planning and efficient distribution of Works orders, Picking documents and Stock as well as to communicate and liaise with and escalate issues to Supervisors and Management where necessary.
This is a 3 months Fixed Term Contract with a potencial to extend it for a further 3 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Allocation of stock to Works orders in the necessary priority order.
- Generating picking documentation, in the necessary priority order.
- Escalate any issues to the relevant department supervisor to ensure efficient flow of orders through the system.
- Report to the Production Controller any problems with production i.e no stock, missing stock, breakdowns etc.
- Report any stock movement errors to the relevant contacts.
- Book in deliveries to customer and arrange transport as required.
- Complete stock checks and counts as required to support the PI department.
- Assist in all other areas of the operations as business requirements demand.
Essential Skills:
- General standard of education
- Good communication skills – verbal and written
- A tidy and organised approach to work
- Willing and flexible in carrying out work duties assigned
- Flexible approach to working hours and prepared to work overtime on occasions.
- Information Technology - computer literate in the use of Office Systems, e.g. Microsoft Office word processing, spread sheets.
- The role requires a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to prioritise workload, keeping to deadlines and disclosure requirements
