Job Summary:
We are seeking a live in Front of House team member. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food and beverage service while giving the customers and hotel residents a warm welcome.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the front of house
- Assist guests with menu selections and provide recommendations
- Process guest orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash and card transactions using POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order delivery
- Ensure efficient operations during service hours, maintaining quality customer service
- Manage reservations and seating and room arrangements to optimise capacity and flow
- Monitor food safety standards and compliance with hygiene regulations
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Maintain inventory of front-of-house supplies and place orders as needed
Able to work as part of a team and on your own following tasks given
Being on site overnight for guest safety and security answering calls out of hours
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a hotel or restaurant setting
- Proficiency in culinary terminology and food service operations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Experience in bartending
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach

Experience:
- Supervising bar and restaurant experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 3 years (preferred)
- Customer service: 5 year
