Location: Penrith, Cumbria (Regional Role)
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits Package
Avon Search & Selection are delighted to be working with a respected care provider to recruit an experienced Regional Support Manager (Registered Nurse) to provide operational and clinical support across a portfolio of care homes in Cumbria.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Home Manager with an active NMC PIN who is ready to take the next step into a regional leadership role. Working closely with Home Managers, you will provide guidance, operational support and quality improvement to ensure each service consistently delivers outstanding, person-centred care.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN.
- Proven experience managing residential and/or nursing care homes.
- A successful track record of improving quality standards and driving positive inspection outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, governance and best practice.
- Excellent leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships and support Home Managers to achieve operational excellence.
- A flexible, proactive approach with the ability to travel across the Cumbria region.
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional care and improving resident outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Working alongside the Senior Management team, you will:
- Provide operational and clinical support to Home Managers across the region.
- Support services to achieve and maintain outstanding standards of care and regulatory compliance.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and share best practice across homes.
- Mentor and develop Home Managers and senior leadership teams.
- Assist with inspections, audits, governance and action planning.
- Support underperforming services and help drive continuous improvement.
- Promote a positive culture focused on quality, safety and resident wellbeing.
