JHM Butt & Company is a family run business with over 50 years of experience in the vehicle workshop sector. We are a growing business supplying customers ranging from major PLCs to smaller independent companies across the UK.
We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Warehouse Operative to join our team. We want someone who is enthusiastic, thinks logically, follows processes accurately and is keen to develop beyond general warehouse duties.
The role will include:
- Picking, packing and checking customer orders
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Goods in and stock processing
- Processing returns and resolving stock queries
- Quality control and stock checks
- General warehouse duties and housekeeping
- Assisting with more complex warehouse tasks as experience develops
We are looking for someone who is reliable, organised and able to think for themselves, while still following established processes. You should take pride in doing things properly and be keen to learn new areas of the operation.
Previous warehouse or forklift experience would be useful, but is not essential, as training can be provided.
For the right person, there is plenty of opportunity to learn, take on more responsibility and progress within the business. Many members of our warehouse team have developed into more senior or specialised roles within the company.
