Carpet & Vinyl Fitter
We are looking for an experienced Carpet & Vinyl Fitter to join our busy carpet and flooring company in East London.
The successful candidate will have excellent practical skills, take pride in their work and have a polite and pleasant manner when dealing with customers.
Requirements
- Carpet and vinyl fitting experience is essential
- Good practical and finishing skills
- Ability to work quickly, efficiently and accurately
- Professional, polite and friendly manner when dealing with customers
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence required
- Own transport preferred
- Good knowledge of London and surrounding areas preferred
Responsibilities
- Professional fitting of carpets and vinyl flooring
- Prepare rooms and surfaces prior to installation
- Measure and cut materials accurately
- Move furniture as required
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard
- Maintain a clean and tidy working area
- Hoover and clean up after installations
- Deal professionally and courteously with customers
- Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining quality
