We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Wedding Coordinator to join our team at a beautiful venue dedicated to creating unforgettable wedding experiences. As a Wedding Coordinator, you will be the driving force behind the seamless execution of weddings, ensuring every detail aligns with the couple’s vision and exceeds expectations. Duties
- Collaborate with couples from initial booking through to the wedding day, providing expert guidance and support throughout the planning process
- Coordinate all logistical details, including venue setup, catering arrangements, décor, entertainment, and timing schedules
- Upsell additional services or enhancements to enhance the guest experience and maximise revenue opportunities
- Oversee event timelines on the wedding day to ensure smooth transitions and adherence to schedule
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving any issues with professionalism and positivity
- Utilise strong organisational skills to maintain detailed records of bookings, payments, and event specifications
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality, restaurant, or hotel settings is highly desirable; experience in wedding or event planning is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with clients, vendors, and team members
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability in time management to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in upselling services or products to enhance client satisfaction and revenue growth
- Knowledge of fundraising or charitable event coordination is advantageous but not essential
- A passion for delivering outstanding guest services within a hospitality or event setting
