Your role will be pivotal in driving process improvement, operational efficiency and simplification across Supplier Funding at Asda. Working within a central team responsible for the system enablement of the end-to-end Supplier Funding process, you will identify commercial opportunities and deliver process enhancements that drive key business metrics, including Commercial P&L, Supplier Income and Profit.
Leveraging your knowledge of Asda processes and integrated systems, you will adopt a user-first approach to streamline ways of working across the end-to-end funding process. Collaborating closely with Commercial, Finance and Technology teams, you will support the design, development and deployment of system and process improvements that unlock value and enhance capability.
The Commercial business function and our Supplier partners will be your primary customers. You will focus on identifying and delivering efficiencies and process improvements that enhance their experience, while continually identifying opportunities to leverage new technologies and capabilities to optimise and enhance the end-to-end Supplier Funding process and drive greater commercial value.
We're looking for an experienced professional with a strong understanding of Supplier Funding operational processes and systems, and a track record of driving process improvement, simplification and operational efficiency.
You must be comfortable using and understanding the technical systems that support Supplier Funding, including how they integrate and work together across the end-to-end process.
You will have experience working across end-to-end business processes, identifying opportunities to improve ways of working and delivering initiatives that create measurable commercial value.
You'll be comfortable managing complex stakeholder relationships and influencing across multiple business functions. Experience partnering with Commercial, Finance, Technology and external suppliers would be highly beneficial.
You will be a highly collaborative and commercially minded individual with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement. You will have the ability to analyse complex processes, identify inefficiencies and develop innovative solutions that deliver benefits for both the business and its stakeholders.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential. You will be confident engaging with colleagues at all levels, building trusted relationships and influencing decisions through data, insight and a clear understanding of business priorities.
To ensure we balance moments where we know we need to collaborate together and the need for flexibility, Asda has a hybrid way of working with a minimum 3 days a week in one of our Home Offices. Over and above this, each area of Asda may have additional requirements which may require spending more days in the office, visiting suppliers, stores or depots.
