Line Leader Production MM FLOWERS - Alconbury Weald
Location: Pierson Road, The Enterprise Campus, Alconbury Weald, Huntingdon, PE28 4YA
Contract: Wednesday–Saturday (average 40.25 hours per week)
Shifts:
- Days: 6:30am – 7:00pm, £30,431.37pa (equals £14.50ph)
Pay: Paid monthly
Benefits: 5% pension, BUPA (employee only)
MM Flowers is looking for a reliable and motivated Line Leader to join our production team. You’ll be responsible for managing a team of 8–20 operatives, ensuring products are packed and processed efficiently and to customer specifications. This is a key leadership role focused on quality, productivity, and people development in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team to meet daily production targets
- Ensure all products meet the required quality, specification, and presentation standards
- Carry out traceability checks (OAL/Olympus) and input data into the ERP system (Rubicon)
- Balance production lines for efficiency and optimise staff allocation
- Support, train, and develop new and existing team members
- Record and report on production counts, waste, and issues
- Escalate production or quality issues promptly to the Section Manager
- Maintain compliance with health & safety and GMP standards
- Represent the line during customer visits, audits, and internal reviews
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a similar production or manufacturing leadership role
- Familiarity with traceability systems and ERP software (e.g. OAL, Rubicon)
- Strong team leadership and communication skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach to resolving issues and improving performance
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high standards
- Understanding of health & safety, hygiene, and compliance requirements
