Lead Wind Turbine Technician

Full-Time | 40 hours per week plus overtime (Monday to Friday)
UK-Wide Travel Required from our base in Beith. Regular Overnight Stays away.

CWTS Scotland Ltd is a specialist company dedicated to the maintenance, repair, and servicing of wind turbines throughout the UK. Based in North Ayrshire, we pride ourselves on delivering a high-quality, reliable service to clients across the renewable energy sector.
We are currently seeking an experienced Wind Turbine Technician to take a lead role in our growing team. This is a hands-on, field-based position suited to someone with strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, excellent fault-finding skills, and a passion for renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities:
· • Leading maintenance, repair, and inspection works on wind turbines (primarily small to medium-scale) 50 and 100KW turbines.
· • Supervising and supporting trainee technicians on-site
· • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults and implementing effective solutions
· • Ensuring all works are completed in line with health and safety standards
· • Completing site reports and communicating with clients professionally
· • Travelling across the UK as required, including regular overnight stays
What We’re Looking For:
· • Proven experience working with wind turbines (small/medium scale preferred)
· • Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
· • Leadership experience or readiness to step into a lead role
· • Willingness and flexibility to travel and work away from home regularly
· • A full UK driving licence
· • GWO certification and working at height training (preferred but not essential)
