We are seeking an experienced class 1 driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods from one location to another, following all applicable laws and regulations. The Driver must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record, as well as the ability to read maps and follow directions. The ideal candidate will also possess strong customer service skills and be able to maintain a professional attitude in all situations.
Responsibilities:
- Follow all applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain a valid commercial driver's license.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate logs of hours and miles driven.
- Inspect truck before and after trips for mechanical issues.
- Communicate with transport team, customers, and other drivers.
- Keep track of delivery information such as addresses, items delivered, and recipients' signatures.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £16.50-£18.00 per hour
