What will your day look like?
As an apprentice, you’ll support internal and external customers by responding to everyday queries via email, telephone and face to face queries. Your work will be varied and could include helping with finance and invoicing, processing data and entering information into specialist systems, working with the recruitment team to develop & post adverts, taking meeting notes, using spreadsheets, supporting with DBS and customer face to face duties and more! No two days will be the same, and you’ll be supported to learn as you go.
Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Business Support Apprentice to join our Central Business Support Service. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gain real‑world experience and develop valuable skills in a fast‑paced, supportive environment.
You’ll move between different teams across our People & Governance Service Area , where you will support and learn from colleagues across Recruitment, HR, Payroll and System Admin gaining valuable insight into how these key services operate, giving you the chance to learn lots of new skills and gain a wide range of experience.
This role involves working with sensitive and confidential information, so being careful and accurate is really important. You don’t need to know everything on day one, we’re looking for someone who is keen to learn, communicates well and enjoys helping others.
You’ll be organised, pay attention to detail and be happy to ask questions, use your initiative and manage your time. Most importantly, you’ll enjoy working as part of a supportive team where you can build confidence, develop new skills and grow in your career.
