Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your expertise will help ensure our projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Duties
- Read and interpret roofing schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
- Install new roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to ensure durability and weather resistance.
- Repair or replace damaged roofing components, including shingles, metal panels, membranes, and flashing.
- Utilize welding skills when necessary for metal roof fabrication or repairs.
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment safely while following proper safety protocols.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to verify quality standards and adherence to specifications.
- Assist with other construction-related tasks such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, or general site preparation as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in roofing installation and repair with a solid understanding of roofing materials and techniques.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques.
- Construction experience across various trades such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing or general building is highly desirable.
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, working at heights, and outdoor conditions.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to roofing work including fall protection measures.
- Basic understanding of building codes and regulations relevant to roofing projects.

Pay: £102.64-£262.50 per day
