Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all care standards exceed the requirements of Children's Home Regulations 2015
- Build strong, trusting relationships with young people, families, and professionals
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to team members
- Promote a nurturing, attachment-based approach to care
- Oversee care plans, risk assessments, and behavioural support strategies
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a children's residential setting at Deputy Manager level or higher
- Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the confidence to mentor and guide teams
- Understanding of trauma-informed care (knowledge of PACE is advantageous)
- UK Driving Licence
- Clear DBS and strong references
