Team Leader – Community Drug & Alcohol Service (CDAS)

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join our Community Drug and Alcohol Service (CDAS) in Stoke-on-Trent.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team delivering high-quality, recovery-focused support to individuals affected by substance misuse. You'll play a key role in developing staff, driving service performance, and ensuring positive outcomes for service users.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise and support a multidisciplinary team.
- Deliver effective performance management, coaching and professional development.
- Ensure high-quality, evidence-based interventions are available to service users.
- Oversee recovery-focused group programmes and service delivery.
- Monitor performance against contractual and organisational targets.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to achieve positive outcomes.
About You
We're looking for someone with:
- Experience managing and motivating teams.
- Experience working within commissioned or target-driven services.
- Strong report writing, communication and organisational skills.
- Experience auditing, coaching and developing staff.
- The ability to build effective working relationships across agencies and services.

Working Pattern
Standard working hours are between Monday to Friday. Flexibility is required as the role includes participation in an evening rota (up to 8:00pm) and Saturday working on a rota basis will be in place in the near future.
