We are looking for a professional and reliable Class 2 Driver with a proactive, can-do approach to their work.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out multi-drop deliveries of palletised freight throughout the SS and CM postcode areas. Deliveries will include both commercial and residential locations, and the use of a pump truck for tail lift deliveries will be required when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Multi-drop delivery of palletised freight across SS and CM postcodes.
- Safe operation of a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle.
- Use of a pump truck for tail lift deliveries.
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately and maintaining excellent customer service.
- Ensuring all vehicle safety checks and legal requirements are adhered to.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Experience using a pump truck for tail lift deliveries is preferred.
- A professional, positive, and customer-focused attitude.
- Good knowledge of driver hours and road transport regulations.
Previous experience in a similar multi-drop role would be advantageous; however, full training will be provided for the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a positive, can-do attitude.
Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
