Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver – Temperature Controlled Logistics
Location: Chard, Somerset (TA20 – Somerset/Devon/Dorset border)
Pay Rate: From £16.00 per hour
Hours: Guaranteed 40 hours per week
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Essential Requirements (Read First):
- Valid Category C (Class 2) licence
- Minimum 2 years’ Class 2 driving experience
- Professional, safe driving record
- Strong customer service and communication skills
The Role:
Igloo Temperature Controlled Logistics is a leading chilled and frozen food courier with over 20 years of industry experience. We deliver same-day and next-day refrigerated goods nationwide on behalf of food producers and distributors.
You will be responsible for the delivery and collection of chilled and frozen goods, completing 5–10 drops per day, using PDA systems for route and paperwork management.
Working Pattern:
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekends and bank holidays as required
Key Responsibilities:
- Multi-drop deliveries and collections
- Daily vehicle safety and maintenance checks
- Accurate completion of delivery paperwork via PDA
- Maintaining high standards of customer service
- Driving safely and professionally at all times
