- Keep clear and up‑to‑date maintenance and compliance records in SharePoint.
- Prepare operational updates and reports for the Charity Manager and trustees.
- Provide housing‑related inductions for new residents (property systems, safety, waste, repairs).
- Communicate effectively with residents about maintenance, repairs and operational matters.
- Signpost residents to external support services when appropriate (no personal care duties).
- Support trustees with procurement, budgeting information and compliance monitoring.
- Ensure all facilities operations meet charity, housing and almshouse regulatory requirements.
Qualifications

- Strong understanding of health & safety and statutory compliance requirements.
- Confidence managing contractors and overseeing maintenance works.
- Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Clear, approachable communication style, particularly with older residents.
- Practical, hands‑on problem‑solving ability.
- Experience in charitable or supported housing settings is desirable but not essential.
- Basic IT skills for record‑keeping and reporting (SharePoint, email, digital logs).
