Summary
We are seeking a Painter and Decorator to undertake the internal painting of a residential development. This role is vital in ensuring the residential property is beautifully maintained and decorated, reflecting our company's commitment to excellence. The successful candidate will contribute to enhancing the living environments of our residents.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting and decorating, ensuring high-quality finishes.
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other finishes to various surfaces.
- Collaborate with property managers to coordinate decorating schedules.
- Maintain tools and equipment in excellent condition.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress.
- Assist in other maintenance tasks as required to support property upkeep.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a painter and decorator.
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation, paints, and decorating techniques.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driving license is preferred but not essential.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to painting work.
