Job Summary
ACRE is expanding, and we are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Bathroom Fitter with extensive wet room experience to join our team. You will be responsible for high-quality installations and refurbishments across residential and social housing properties (void and occupied) throughout London.
We work with several housing providers. We value professionals who deliver clean, high-end finishes and take immense pride in their craftsmanship.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Full Suite Installation: Install baths, showers, sinks, toilets, and associated fixtures to a high standard.
- Wet Room Specialism: Install wet room safety flooring, including cap and cove and welded joints (essential).
- Floor Preparation: Perform subfloor preparation, including latexing, screeding, and minor repairs.
- General Flooring: Install laminate flooring and carpet (including grippers, underlay, and trims).
- Plumbing & Carpentry: Handle water supply and drainage connections, along with necessary framing or structural support work.
- Precision Work: Measure spaces accurately and use hand/power tools and welding equipment safely.
- Professionalism: Maintain a clean work environment, adhere to building regulations, and provide professional advice to clients on-site.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience in bathroom fitting and a strong background in wet room installations (essential).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in plumbing, carpentry, and safety flooring (welded joints).
- Status & Compliance: Must have a UTR number (Self-employed). CSCS card is preferred.
- Tools & Transport: Must have your own tools and reliable transport.
- Physical Ability: Capability to perform heavy lifting of bathroom units and materials.
- Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and punctuality.
- Sector Knowledge: Experience in social housing or residential refurbishments is highly desirable.

Pay: £210.00-£250.00 per day
