Conwy County Borough Council is looking for an experienced Team Manager to lead a dynamic team within the Children and Young Adults Disability Service. You will play a key role in ensuring children and young people receive high-quality services that promote independence, resilience and successful transition into adulthood.
The role will involve:
- Leading, supervising and developing a professional multi-disciplinary team.
- Ensuring assessments, reviews and statutory responsibilities are completed within required timescales.
- Providing professional supervision, quality assurance and oversight of case management decisions.
- Working closely with Education, Health and partner agencies to deliver integrated responses to identified needs.
- Contributing to service development, innovation and efficiency while ensuring value for money.
- Managing resources, budgets and performance to achieve excellent outcomes for children, young people and their families.
We are looking for a candidate with a professional qualification in Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Nursing, together with significant experience of working with people with disabilities and leading teams.
You will have a strong understanding of relevant legislation and guidance relating to children and adults, as well as the ability to foster a culture of high performance, evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.
