Hours:
Minimum 5 hours per week, every Friday (evening events) — likely to grow as our events calendar expands. We can only guarantee 5 hours for now, but Fridays are a fixed, ongoing commitment.

1 Mill Street is Leamington Spa’s coworking and community hub — home to a growing mix of businesses, freelancers, and events, all under one roof. Our Friday evenings are becoming a fixture: a chance for our members and the wider local business community to unwind together, and we want our bar to be at the heart of that.
The role:
We’re looking for a Bar and Events Coordinator to run our bar on Friday evenings and support the wider events programme as it grows. You’ll be the face behind the bar, keeping it stocked, compliant, and running smoothly — and helping make it the natural place people head to after work. You’ll work under our Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS), so no personal licence is required — just good judgement and a solid grasp of responsible service.
What you’ll be doing:
Running bar service for Friday evening events
Ordering and managing stock, keeping the bar well-supplied without overstocking
Cellar management and line cleaning, keeping everything compliant and in good order Training and supporting other staff or volunteers who help out behind the bar
Pitching in with general event support beyond the bar itself when needed
Managing rotas and timesheets for bar staff, ready for payroll
What we’re looking for:
Bar experience, ideally including cellar management and line cleaning
Comfortable managing stock and keeping on top of admin (rotas, timesheets)
A natural host — someone who can read a room and make people feel welcome
Reliable and happy to commit to Fridays as a fixed part of your week Interested in growing with the role as our events programme expands
