We are recruiting dedicated, enthusiastic Support Workers to join a friendly, established team supporting a young gentleman with cerebral palsy, complex physical needs and communication difficulties. We have opportunities for full-time and part-time staff, and are looking for people who enjoy working as part of a close-knit team.
Our client lives in his own home and leads an active, family-centred life. He has a fantastic sense of humour, enjoys getting out into the community, attending events, trying new experiences and going on holidays. This is a varied role where no two days are the same.
Working alongside family members, fellow Support Workers, management and a team of private therapists, you will play an important role in supporting his independence, rehabilitation and quality of life.
The Role
Your duties will include:
- Providing personal care and moving & handling support.
- Supporting community access, activities, appointments and holidays.
- Following a detailed, person-centred support plan.
- Working closely with family, therapists and the wider support team.
- Completing accurate daily records and documentation.
- Promoting independence, choice and dignity at all times.
You'll receive a full induction, comprehensive training, regular supervision, ongoing professional development and access to out-of-hours management support.

Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a care or support role.
- Available to work a rota including weekdays, weekends and sleep-ins.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Confident driving a wheelchair accessible vehicle (training provided if required).
- Physically able to undertake moving and handling duties.
- Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
Pay & Benefits
- Weekday: £13.33 per hour
- Weekend: £14.35 per hour
- Sleep-in: £12.21 per hour
- Bank Holidays: Double time
Hours: 24–42 hours per week
Part-time applications and job shares are welcomed.
Shift Pattern
- Day Shifts: 8:30am – 8:30pm & 10am - 6pm
- Sleep-in/Night Shift: 8:30pm – 8:30am
Shifts are worked on a rota basis and include weekdays, weekends and sleep-ins. Specific availability can be discussed during interview.
Please note: This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. All successful applicants will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
Support Workers will be employed directly by our client but recruited and managed by Core Case Management Ltd.
