Summary
We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Supervisor to join our team in Crewe. This vital role involves overseeing various projects, ensuring high standards of work, and maintaining excellent client relationships. Your contribution will support our mission to deliver top-quality property maintenance services efficiently and reliably whilst working onsite yourself and monitoring others.
Site Supervisor Tasks
Ensure compliance of health and safety requirements for everyone on site.
Ensure all works are carried out to CDM regulations with outsourced support as necessary. Ensuring everyone on site has had a site induction read and signed all RAMS and wearing the correct PPE.
Ensure all contractors sign in and out each day and inform project manager of any contractors not turning up.
Check contractors’ tickets/certificates
Manage contractors on site and informing project co-ordinator of any deviations
Organise and arrange skip exchange or collections in agreement with client/project manager
Order a certain amount of the reactively required materials from site ie bulk/full packs of materials/small items to be collected but ordered from site
Take regular photographs of the site to catalogue the progress of works.
Work to costs and any additions/extras are to be either signed by the client on site or passed to the project manager for confirmation before proceeding.
To complete a site diary of completion of daily works.
If the job should waver from the programme for any reason and at any time then manage and re-prioritise, informing the project manager.
If not on a job for the duration to make regular site visits and as minimum check quality standards are being adhered to.
Any communication with the customer on job notes to be sent to the project manager
Monitor and challenge work performances and notify the project co-ordinator of any issues.
Have verbal weekly meetings to discuss regular labour and material requirements, work progression and adherence to plan, costs and sub-contractor monitoring.
Reporting new works from existing customer sites when carrying out works.
Trade Related Tasks
To fully understand and undertake the full range of trade skills as identified by the trade competency matrix.
Communicate appropriately with all clients, suppliers, employees and trade allies.
When required prepare the site prior to commencement of work and oversee delivery of plant and materials.
Ensure that a working relationship is held with the project coordinators to update any changes to schedule of works.
Ensure that health & safety checks are completed on hired equipment prior to use.
Ensure all completed works are to the standards expected and signed off on the self-certification form by the client.
Ensure photographic evidence is obtained and submitted to the account coordinators on completion of works.
Reporting new works from existing customer sites when carrying out work.
Complete all required timesheets and submit in a timely manner.
Ensure vehicle is kept in a clean condition and carry out weekly checks and servicing.
Provide weekly feedback on overall job management and your level of customer engagement
Customer Site Visits
Carryout local pre-quote surveys alone or with pre-organised trade allies providing timings and resources to enable the relevant co-ordinators to produce the tender documentation.
Prepare sites prior to the commencement of work, Liaising with clients on certain topics, overseeing trade allies, Solving inter-trade problems.
Key Skills Required
Must have a SSSTS as a minimum
5 years experience of multi Skills
A full driving license
A enhanced DBS clearance
Pay: £38,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
