Cygnet Group are looking for an experienced Team Leader (Social Care) to join our team working at The Squirrels.

The Squirrels:
The Squirrels is a specialist residential service for adults with autism and learning disabilities, who may present with behaviours that challenge. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable and effective care environment for those in our care, promoting independence and community integration.
Your Role as a Team Leader (Social Care) at Cygnet:
Working 42-hours per week (Days Only) on a permanent contract, working 12-hour days across a 7-day rota, including approximately two weekends per month.
Your Day to Day:
Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach to all individuals in our care
Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
Assist with medical & welfare needs & report as required
Support management in the day-to-day running of the service
Undertake supervisory & administrative responsibilities
Safeguard
Maintain a safe and clean environment for all.

You are…
Either currently working as a Senior Support Worker or Team Leader
Experience supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities or behaviours that challenge
Experienced in shift leading, delegating tasks to junior staff members and supporting Service Managers
Genuinely driven to make a difference in people’s lives
Confident, assertive & ambitious for yourself, service users & the organisation
An excellent communicator & good team player
Organised, committed & keen to develop your management & leadership skills.
