Overview
We are seeking a skilled Freelance / Self-employed Thai Massage Therapist to provide authentic Thai massage services to clients seeking relaxation and therapeutic treatment. This role offers flexible scheduling, allowing you to work independently and build your client base. The ideal candidate will have a passion for holistic health and well-being, with a strong understanding of anatomy to ensure safe and effective treatments. This position is fully paid, recognising the specialised skills involved in delivering traditional Thai massage.
Duties
- Deliver professional Thai massage treatments tailored to individual client needs, focusing on relaxation and muscle relief.
- Assess clients' physical condition and discuss their specific requirements prior to therapy.
- Maintain a clean, organised workspace in compliance with hygiene standards and health regulations.
- Manage appointments efficiently, ensuring punctuality and excellent customer service throughout each session.
- Keep any relevant records of treatments provided and any relevant client feedback or concerns.
- Stay informed about best practices in Thai massage techniques and holistic health trends to continually enhance service quality.
- Promote a calming environment that encourages client comfort and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Thai Massage Therapist with certification or recognised training in traditional Thai massage techniques (salary range based on experience and number of clients seen while on shift)
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy to perform safe and effective treatments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients.
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage appointments independently.
- Flexibility to work on a freelance basis, with the ability to adapt scheduling as needed.
- A genuine passion for promoting wellness through holistic therapies.
