We are looking for hard working individuals with a keen eye for detail to join our grounds maintenance team at Witton Castle Country Park - DL14 0DE
The hours of work are 45 hours per week + overtime, normal working is Monday to Sunday working rotas for days off, some weekend work is essential. You must be able to report ready for work by 7.30am in a morning.
A suitable level of fitness is required to cope with the physical demands of the job and the ability to work outdoors in all weathers. Experience of driving ride on mowers, tractors and other machinery associated with Grounds Maintenance operations is desirable however training will be given. A full driving licence is essential.
You must be capable of working either on your own or as part of a team and be capable of using your own initiative to ensure the completion of work schedules to a satisfactory standard.
You will be responsible for undertaking work including: General maintenance, grass cutting, strimming, hedge cutting, litter picking, pruning, path edging, sweeping, landscaping, preparation of planting areas, ongoing care of plants and repairs to lawns, general ground care and maintenance on a holiday park.
Pay is subject to experience - From £12.71ph
