Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients
- Support cooking activities , ensuring dishes meet quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Prepare ingredients and serve meals for staff to
- Follow recipes accurately and ensure consistency in presentation and taste
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Basic cooking skills and familiarity with meal preparation techniques
- Experience working in a hospitality setting is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times
