At CBS we specialise in custom-made precision spring manufacturing, supplying high-quality and dependable components to a variety of industries, assisting the customer from design through to manufacturing, enhancing and supporting the application of each component. This is a hands-on role for someone with experience in wire forming and CNC machine setting, who enjoys practical engineering work and wants to develop further within a supportive manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Setting and operating wire forming machines
- Producing wire forms to customer drawings and specifications
- Adjusting tooling and machine settings to achieve accurate results
- Checking dimensions and maintaining quality standards
- Supporting the production team with general workshop operations
- Working closely with experienced operators and engineers
What We’re Looking For
We are specifically looking for someone with previous experience as a Wireformer / Wire Forming Machine Setter.
The amount of experience is not the most important thing to us, whether you’ve worked in the field for 1 year or 20 years, what matters is that you already understand wire forming processes and know how to operate and set machines.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience setting and operating CNC wire forming machinery
- Have good attention to detail and take pride in their work
- Be reliable, motivated, and willing to learn
- Be practical and hands-on
- Work well independently and as part of a team
