Job title – Examinations Delivery Officer

Purpose and Overview
The Examinations Delivery Officer (EDO) will support the successful planning, coordination and delivery of examination projects across a range of clients and assessment models.
The role will act as a key operational coordination function within the Delivery Team, supporting operational readiness, governance, project coordination and delivery execution across multiple concurrent assessment cycles.
Working closely with the Examinations Delivery Managers (EDMs), the EDO will help ensure examination events are delivered consistently, compliantly and in line with agreed Statements of Work, timelines and operational standards.
The EDO will maintain visibility across operational activities, proactively coordinate actions between departments, track delivery readiness and escalate risks or blockers where required.
The role will work cross functionally with the Delivery Team, Venue Management, Resource Team, Technical Services, IT Partnerships and external suppliers to support the successful execution of examination events.
This role is designed to strengthen operational coordination, improve visibility and support scalable delivery processes as the business continues to grow.
Hours, Location & Travel
Hours: 40 hours per week, worked flexibly to meet operational demands.
Location: Hybrid working model, typically 1–2 days per week at TEAMCo offices.
Travel & Unsociable Hours: Regular UK travel is required. Some evening and weekend work will be necessary during peak periods. Time Off in Lieu (TOIL) will be provided in accordance with company policy.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Delivery Coordination
- Support the Examinations Delivery Managers with the coordination and delivery of examination events across multiple clients and projects
- Maintain visibility across assigned projects and proactively support delivery activities where required
- Coordinate operational actions and dependencies across internal teams to support successful delivery outcomes
- Support the maintenance of operational delivery timelines, trackers and readiness plans
Project Planning & Operational Readiness
- Contribute to detailed operational delivery plans for examination and assessment events
- Support operational readiness processes across venues, staffing, logistics and technical delivery
- Assist with the coordination of operational readiness reviews and follow up on actions, risks and blockers
Stakeholder & Client Coordination
- Support communication with clients and internal stakeholders where required
- Support EDMs in ensuring Statements of Work remain the single source of truth
Technical & Supplier Coordination
- Work closely with Technical Services, IT support teams and third party suppliers
- Assist with the coordination of client image briefing, software requirements and sign off processes
- Support the tracking and coordination of hardware, imaging and deployment readiness
Risk, Governance & Escalation Management
- Support the maintenance of ISO logs, action trackers and operational escalation logs
- Escalate blockers, risks or readiness concerns to the EDM or Head of Delivery where appropriate
SOPs, Documentation & Continuous Improvement
- Support the development and maintenance of client playbooks, operational SOPs and delivery documentation
- Assist with post delivery reviews, lessons learned exercises and continuous improvement initiatives
Person Specification:
Qualifications (Essential)
- GCSEs or equivalent including English and Maths
Desirable
- Computing qualification
- Safeguarding and GDPR training
- Project coordination or operational delivery training
Knowledge and Skills:
- Familiarity with digital assessment platforms and operational delivery environments
- Understanding of operational dependencies, readiness planning and risk management
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- Confident user of Microsoft Office and project tracking platforms such as Monday.com
