Priory Higfields has an opportunity for a Maintenance Assitant to join our team.
Highfields, Chasetown, Staffordshire is a residential service supporting 8 adults with a range of needs. It is located in a suburban setting and is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes and nearby rail links into Lichfield and surrounding areas. Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.
We’re looking for a reliable Maintenance Person to help maintain a safe, comfortable and well-presented environment for colleagues, clients and visitors. Reporting to the Deputy Service Manager, you’ll support day-to-day maintenance, safety and security across the site.
In this role, you will:
- Carry out general maintenance, repairs and checks across the site.
- Identify and report faults, damage and maintenance issues.
- Complete routine compliance and safety checks.
- Support site security through regular patrols.
- Record incidents and complete required checks on Nourish.
- Follow Health & Safety procedures and work within your level of competence.

You’ll have practical experience in general maintenance or a similar role, with a good understanding of Health & Safety and safe working practices. You’ll be able to work independently, manage your workload effectively, identify and report issues, and work flexibly as part of a team.
