Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and take drink orders accurately, ensuring prompt service.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and prevent underage sales.
- Handle cash and card transactions efficiently while maintaining accurate records of sales.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure the bar is fully equipped at all times.
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, creating a lively yet professional atmosphere.
- Follow food safety regulations and uphold hygiene standards throughout all duties.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Excellent serving skills with the ability to multitask effectively during peak hours.
- Good understanding of basic maths for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients accurately.
