Shawlands Dental Care is looking for an enthusiastic, caring and motivated Treatment Co-Ordinator to join our growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced dental professional who enjoys building relationships with patients, supporting them through their treatment journey and helping patients take the next step with their dental care.
The Role
As our Treatment Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for helping patients understand, progress and complete their treatment journeys.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and supporting patients throughout their treatment journey.
- Discussing treatment plans and helping patients understand their recommended treatment options.
- Confidently discussing treatment costs and available payment and finance plans.
- Following up treatment leads and enquiries to help patients progress with their care.
- Following up open courses of treatment and supporting patients to continue with recommended treatment.
- Building strong, trusted relationships with patients.
- Working closely with clinicians and the wider dental team to ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring excellent communication throughout the patient journey.
- Helping create an exceptional patient experience from initial enquiry through to completion of treatment.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced within a dental practice or healthcare environment.
- Preferably trained in dental radiography and intraoral scanning.
- Confident discussing treatment plans, costs and payment options with patients.
- Comfortable following up leads and open courses of treatment.
- Friendly, approachable and professional.
- Organised and able to manage multiple patient journeys.
- A confident communicator who can build rapport and trust with patients.
- Motivated by delivering excellent patient care and achieving positive outcomes.
- Keen to develop their skills and grow their career within dentistry.
