Office Manager
Location: Canton, Cardiff
Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 per annum (depending on experience)
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Office Manager to join our team. This is a varied role that combines accounting, payroll, administration, and facilities management responsibilities, making it ideal for a proactive individual who enjoys working across multiple business functions.
Key Responsibilities Accounts & Payroll
- Manage company accounts and payroll processes.
- Maintain accurate financial records and book keeping activities.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with account reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and procedures.
- Use Xero and Microsoft Excel to manage financial data effectively.
Office Administration
- Develop, implement, and maintain efficient administrative systems and procedures.
- Prepare, organise, and maintain personnel files and employee records.
- Support day-to-day office operations and ensure smooth business administration.
- Coordinate correspondence and provide administrative support to management.
Facilities & Operations
- Liaise with contractors and external service providers.
- Prepare and maintain Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals.
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety procedures.
- Support facilities management activities to ensure the office environment is safe and well-maintained.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum AAT qualification (or equivalent accounting qualification).
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, payroll, and office management.
- Proficiency in Xero and office Suite.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
