Reports to Housekeeping Manager
What you’ll be doing!
Working as a housekeeping and linen porter, you are an essential part of the Housekeeping Team ensuring that all Room Attendants have everything they need to provide the guest bedroom to standard. You will maintain Maid stations to ensure linen is prepared and ready for bedrooms. You will collect used linen from the floors, count it and return it to suppliers and complete paperwork to maintain correct levels
You will check all deliveries and match them against delivery notes and check invoices. You will check all linen is up to standard and return any that is deemed unfit.
You will be essential to maintaining legal requirements for Health and Safety within guest bedrooms. Working on a monthly, quarterly and annual schedule, you will complete tasks such as kettle descaling, mattress turning, cleaning of shower heads, vents and traps; Window cleaning, high level dusting and general maintenance of back of house areas.
Work will then be completed by recording all work to ensure due diligence.
