Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Therapist/ Hygienist to join our professional dental practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining patients’ oral health through preventive care and education. Duties
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing of patients’ teeth
- Provide oral health education and personalised advice to patients on maintaining optimal dental hygiene
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
- Monitor patient comfort throughout procedures and address any concerns promptly
- Support the practice with administrative tasks related to patient scheduling and record management
Experience
- Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist/Therapy or similar role within a clinical setting
- Knowledge of anatomy relevant to oral health and dental procedures
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols and sterilisation procedures
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple patients efficiently
- Certification or registration with the appropriate dental regulatory body is essential
Pay: £34.00-£40.00 per hour
