Business Development Executive
Role Overview
We are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Business Development Executive to help grow our consultancy, training and assurance services within international standards. Working alongside the Directors and senior leadership team, you will identify new business opportunities, build lasting client relationships and help shape the future growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Growth
- Drive new business opportunities across consultancy, training and assurance services.
- Lead up-selling initiatives to existing clients, identifying opportunities for added value.
Client Relationship Management
- Develop long-term relationships with existing clients.
- Identify opportunities to introduce additional services.
- Conduct regular client review meetings.
- Help improve client retention and satisfaction.
Bid & Tender Response
- Support the preparation and submission of bids and tenders, ensuring competitive and compliant proposals.
Marketing & Strategy
· Work with the marketing team to convert campaigns into sales opportunities.
· Contribute ideas for marketing campaigns and thought leadership.
Key Skills & Experience
- Experience in business development or a sales environment.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience managing bids, tenders, and contractual negotiations.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and contribute to strategic initiatives.
- Familiarity with compliance programmes and process improvement methodologies.
CRM & Data Management
· Maintain accurate CRM records.
· Manage the sales pipeline.
· Produce sales activity reports.
· Monitor conversion rates.
