We are currently looking for motivated and quality driven Children’s Support Workerss in Newmachar to join our growing Homecare Scotland family.

The Client:
The client is a teenage boy who has a triple diagnosis of complex health conditions. He is non verbal and he is mobile but uses a wheelchair when out and about. He attends a local school and is looking for support at the weekends with social activities such as going to the park or on trips within the community on a 2:1 basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support with social activities, shopping and outings
- Providing excellent care to improve service users overall wellbeing through support
- Assistance with aspects of personal care, moving and handling and medications support
- A Full UK Driving licence is an essential requirement
Desirable Experience:
You will be joining a team of dedicated caregivers on a 2:1 basis. Training, ongoing supervision and support from colleagues and manager will be available.
- Excellent team working skills
- Experience with children with ASN is essential
- Experience with young people with epilepsy
- A great sense of fun and humour in challenging situations
- Experience of medications administration & mobility support
Our work pattern:
- Weekends – 4 hours per day
- School Holidays – Mondays or Wednesday (may vary) & Weekend – 4 hours per day
- Potential for after school care to be included in the coming months
