Summary
We are seeking a Seasonal Treatment Train Operative to join our team at Weedfree Limited. As a Seasonal Operative, you will be responsible for operating equipment designed to provide targeted treatment and application to improve adhesion on the UK Rail Network.
This position is UK wide and will require working away from home, accommodation and overnight expenses will be provided where required.
These rail vehicles operator to a strict timetable at varying times so the successful applicant must be punctual and reliable and be prepared to work antisocial hours.
Successful applicants will be enrolled on our training programme to ensure safe and effective operation of equipment; mentoring is then provided with experienced operatives. You will be required to pass the industry standard medical.
You will be placed at locations throughout the UK from the middle of September until 15th December. Upon successful completion you could be offered a permanent role within Weedfree as part of our expanding team.
Requirements
- Personal Track safety (PTS) Competence
- Successfully complete a pre-employment railway standard D&A and medical
- UK Full drivers' licence (Manual) - Clean
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to work away from home
- Comfortable with shift work
- Strong awareness of health and safety practices
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: £160.00-£180.00 per day
