Assembly Operative
Location: Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire
Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00-16:30 & Friday 08:00-13:00, 37.5 hours paid per week.
Hourly Rate: £13.21-£15.57 DOE, 1.5x Overtime on anything over base hours and 2x on Sunday.
Duration: Tempporary-Permanent
We are looking for skilled assembly operatives to join our well-established client based in Waterbeach. You will use your understanding of technical drawings and strong manual dexterity skills to help achieve company targets. This position is a standing bench-based role where you will use a variety of hand and power tools.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Working to fulfil requirements based on job cards. This includes traceability and signing off op’s
· Following technical drawings to assemble products in line with company standards
· Ensuring correct techniques are carried out for each part of the builds in line with company standards
· Using power tools such as drills safely and competently
· Following health and safety policies
· Ensuring workstations are kept clean and tidy
· Ensuring equipment is well maintained
What we are looking for:
· Previous assembly experience is essential
· An understanding of reading technical drawings/diagrams
· Being able to follow verbale and written instructions
· Strong manual dexterity
· To take pride in your work and show a keen eye for detail
· Previous experience with hand and power tools
