We are looking to further invest in our Golf Course team and are seeking an enthusiastic, hard working Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our existing team at Willow Valley Golf.
The ideal candidate will preferably have some previous experience of working on a golf course although this is not vital as full training will be provided. The candidate should enjoy working outdoors and be aware the role carries early start times in line with the rest of the Golf Course team.
The position is full time, 45 hours per week in peak season and 40 hours per week in the off season. A flexible approach is required along with some weekend, overtime work, according to a rota system. Summer hours are 6am-3.30pm Monday to Friday and Winter hours are 7.30am-4pm Monday to Friday.
Reporting to the Head Greenkeeper, the ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
- A willingness to carry out general duties that improve the presentation of the golf courses and surrounding areas to our customers.
- To be highly motivated and productive with a strong work ethic and able to work as part of a close team
- Work to the highest standard of presentation
- Good time management and communication skills
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn new skills
