Due to continued growth and expansion, Loo-King Ltd are recruiting a Driver / Operator to join our growing Portable Toilet Events and Construction Team based in Neilston.

Job Role
Driver / Operator
Location: Neilston
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay: £13.45 per hour
The role involves the delivery, collection and servicing of our range of portable toilet units across the Central Belt, supporting both our regular construction customers and our busy events operation.
The role may include:
- Portable toilet deliveries and collections
- Scheduled servicing of portable toilet units
- Construction site servicing
- Event deliveries, collections and servicing
- Cleaning and preparation of units
- Supporting the wider Loo-King operational team
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect portable toilet units safely and efficiently
- Carry out scheduled servicing and cleaning of portable toilet units
- Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle compliance standards
- Follow planned routes and schedules whilst responding to operational requirements
- Load, unload and secure equipment safely
- Maintain vehicles, equipment and portable toilet units to a high standard
- Complete relevant paperwork and operational documentation accurately
- Communicate effectively with customers and the wider operational team
- Deliver high standards of customer service whilst representing the business professionally
- Follow all Company Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Work safely, reliably and efficiently at all times
- Support event operations and weekend requirements where required
Qualifications, Licences & Skills
- Valid UK Driving Licence appropriate for the vehicle being operated
- Previous driving or portable toilet servicing experience would be advantageous but is not essential
- Full training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Good geographical knowledge of Glasgow and the Central Belt would be advantageous
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider operational team
- Comfortable undertaking a practical and physically active role
- Professional, reliable and safety-focused approach
- Flexible approach to overtime and weekend event work where required
Applicants must have the appropriate licence and legal entitlement to operate the relevant Company vehicles within the UK.

- Overtime rate for authorised hours worked in excess of 40 hours per week

Working Pattern
