Welsh Speaking Secondary Classroom Assistant – Ruthin
Location: Ruthin, Denbighshire
Excell Supply is recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Welsh Speaking Secondary Classroom Assistants to work in a range of welcoming secondary schools across Ruthin and the surrounding Denbighshire area.

The Role
As a Welsh Speaking Secondary Classroom Assistant, you will:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce learning.
- Communicate confidently in both Welsh and English throughout the school day.
- Help create a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Assist with classroom preparation and learning resources.
- Support students with additional learning needs where required.
- Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Be fluent in Welsh and English.
- Have experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential).
- Hold a relevant Classroom Assistant or Teaching Assistant qualification, or have equivalent experience (desirable).
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be patient, caring and enthusiastic about supporting young people's learning.
- Be flexible, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Have a genuine passion for education and helping students achieve their full potential.
