In this role, you will support the daily operations of the nursery, assist with child supervision, and contribute to the development of a safe and stimulating space. Duties
- Supervise children during play, learning activities, meals, and nap times to ensure safety and engagement
- Support early childhood educators in implementing educational programs aligned with developmental milestones
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming nursery environment that promotes hygiene and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to provide updates on progress and daily activities
- Help manage classroom routines and behavior management strategies in a positive and constructive manner
- Support management in organizing activities, outings, and special events that enhance learning experiences
- Contribute to team meetings by sharing observations on child development and suggesting improvements
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is highly preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare best practices
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Demonstrated leadership abilities to guide children safely and support team members
- Management skills to assist in organizing daily activities and maintaining classroom order
- Valid driving license is a plus for supporting outings or transportation needs
- Childcare certifications or relevant training are advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to undertake necessary training is expected
