We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Dog Daycare Assistant to join our team at our busy dog daycare facility in Galashiels. This position is initially to cover maternity leave, with the potential for a permanent role in the future for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and interact with dogs attending the daycare facility.
- Ensure the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of all dogs in your care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment throughout the facility.
- Assist with feeding and providing general day-to-day care for the dogs.
- Organise and participate in play sessions and enrichment activities to keep dogs happy and stimulated.
- Monitor dog behaviour and report any concerns to the management team.
- Build positive relationships with customers and provide updates on their dog's day.
- Drive the company vehicle to collect and return dogs as part of our transport service.
- Requirements
- Previous experience working in animal care, dog daycare, kennels, grooming, veterinary practice, or a similar environment (essential).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A genuine love of dogs and a caring, compassionate approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy environment.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Applicants must be aged 25 or over for insurance purposes to drive company vehicles.
