Community/Domiciliary Podiatrist – CLCH NHS Trust (Merton)
Contract: Temporary (Approx. 2 months) | Start: ASAP
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm
Pay: £392 per day (PAYE or approved Umbrella)
Central London Community Healthcare (CLCH) NHS Trust is seeking a Podiatrist to join their community team in Merton, delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred foot care across community and clinic settings. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team and make a real difference to patient outcomes.
You will provide general podiatry services to a community caseload, managing both routine and high‑risk patients in line with NHS clinical guidelines.
- 9 patients per day
- 4 new patients
- 5 follow‑ups
- Assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of podiatric conditions
- Deliver high‑quality, patient‑focused care in community settings
- Manage routine and high‑risk patients, including wound care and infection management
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment plans
- Work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues to support holistic care
- Promote foot‑health education and self‑care
- Adhere to Trust policies, governance, and infection‑control standards
- Monday to Friday (5 days)
- Job share considered to cover all weekdays
- Contract length: Approx. 2 months
- Start date: ASAP (subject to compliance/onboarding)
- Biomechanics experience required
- Community experience required
- £392 per day (PAYE or approved Umbrella only)
- £25 per day travel and accommodation allowance
- Inside IR35 – no limited company payments
- EMIS community modules (approx. 3 hours, completed virtually)
- To be completed at least 3 days before first shift
- Day 1 buddy support with a CLCH podiatrist
- CV reviewed and approved by the clinical team and Trust
- Possible call with the Clinical Lead
- EMIS clinical documentation
- Patient/GP letters
- Referrals and discharge reports
- Daily data capture and service‑delivery reports
- Reporting DNAs and urgent patients
