Team Locum is a specialist complex care agency supporting clients across the West Midlands, including Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield, and Solihull. We are hiring for a FEMALE CARE ASSISTANT to support in the B74 area on a full-time basis.
Our client is an adult male who requires 1:1 support within his own home. He enjoys going out into the community and doing activities including, attending the gym, physio and updating his YouTube channel.
He is looking for a staff member who he can bond with, but also trust with his clinical needs.
Driving License is necessary, must be able to drive automatic and comfortable driving a WAV
This role involves supporting clients with a range of complex care needs through a combination of longer day shifts and domiciliary care visits within the community.
It is essential that all staff help with long calls as well as short calls.
Successful candidates will be expected to provide high standards of care, promote independence, and support clients with their daily living activities while always maintaining dignity and respect.
Hours Available
- 3 shifts per week- 7am-22.30pm
- Support with short calls (2-3 hours long)
Essential Skills
· 3 months previous care experience within UK
· Experience with administration of medication
· We are accepting Female only staff for this role.
· Needs to be able to attend training based in Kings Norton B30
